There has been a mix of rude employees and polite a mix of correct and incorrect directions and multiple errors by the doctor's themselves. I never thought I'd have to warn people not to trust the facility I'm forced to use. Pretty sad just look at there website, the lack of effort and care is obvious.
I'd just like to again thank Elizabeth, Jennifer and Jonathan in ICU for the care and amazing patience they have shown my family. I'm truly grateful for their service and they have made a lastly effect my perception of Sutter Health.
Today I was in an accident on my motorcycle while going to work. As I proceeded west on RailRoad from Petaluma hill just past the tracks a truck pulled out and I had to put the bike in the ditch.. I give full praise to the emergency responders. They went above and beyond in helping me. I asked to go to Kaiser cause they’ve always treated me with dignity and respect. It was taken instead to memorial in Santa Rosa! I am dumbfounded at my treatment there. I had helped a friend that seemed down and I worried about maybe hurting himself so I took his firearm. And today was giving it back after work... I made sure to tell the responders if it’s existence. And per protocol the police were informed. But memorial without knowing any information about me decided I was a criminal! Yes I wear a patched vest! It says INDEPENDENT NOMAD. Because I am NOT affiliated with the local MC groups. The nurse was horrible! She treated me like I was trash! From start to finish. Then the Tech oh wow! If he’s the future of health care we’re doomed! He used only water and 4X4 gauge to scrub my BROKEN leg... at no point disinfected the road rash and I personally had to help him put my soft cast on.. I had the enjoyment of being told I was fine and that there’s no way my leg was broke by my attending nurse. Which of course she was wrong! I broke the fibula. Oh sorry I forgot to tell you that in the ambulance I was injected with first Dilaudid, then as I was still in pain I was injected with Ketamine... which causes hallucinations. I have high functioning autism... it was not a good thing. Back to the Tech he then poured water only on the section of road rash in my right arm and with out using a disinfect he wrapped my arm... it lasted a total of 30 min before falling apart he tied it. Apparently they can’t afford tape. All the while a security guard came in and removed my knife from my vest. My pocket knife. My multiuse tool from my backpack. And the extra clip I was returning to my friend. Never once did he ask or have permission to go through my personal belongings. He told me he would put it all safely in the safe... he forged my signature on the document. Then handed my personal belongings over to the police with about a warrant! And with me not actually doing anything wrong!! I wails rather di e then to ever set foot in that God forsaken trash hospital!

Great kaiser facility. Mon-Wednesday is very busy. Go Thursday. I was pleasantly surprised to find that i was the only patient in the radiology department and got my x-ray done in seven minutes. If you time it right, you could meet your doctor, complete exams, and get meds all within an hour + (for me) $0 co-pay. Kaiser rules!
Wow, my wife went in there because she wad dehydrated and received a few IV water bags and they charged me 3,500$ holy cow this is ridiculous. find another hospital that wont gouge your wallet.
Wheelchair accessible. I have been here through the months of October 2012 and so far November 2012. First of all five stars to the CNA's they are awesome especially with the work load they carry. Great attitudes and hustle to keep patients comfortable. Recreation therapy and physical therapy great job. Thumbs up! Case workers ,administration ,management doing great job working on trying to keep patients happy and keep this place in shape. They have to know whats wrong in order to fix it. Make sure you let them know if any complaints. They have an open door.RN's and LVN's work well with patients, medications and wound care. This place can get very busy and doesn't run perfectly all the time but overall good job.
I am a patient and talking from my experience so far. I'll keep u up dated.
Writing specifically about my ER experience from having a severe allergic reaction to Poison Oak. I’ll spare you on the why and how it happened but I’m compelled to write this review out of the genuine love and care I received this week from this group, during two separate visits.
The whole staff, from intake all the way up to my new favorite ER Dr were amazing!
Side note, The SMC Sheriff on duty was awesome as well.
They’re really organized, work as a team, are well informed and provide exceptional care. I witnessed this at all levels of their services, both for myself and the other patients around me. The professionalism was second to none.
To all of you at SMMC ER, my family and I can not thank you enough for all that you do. I hope not to be back anytime soon but I’ll always recommend you guys and trust if I need help again, you’ll be there.
Stay safe, happy and healthy
Majority of the office staff are rude and make you seem like an inconvenience for calling. (only a few show kindness) The doctor I saw for an ACL tear spoke doom and gloom about the situation and asked me if he scared me enough, so I wouldn't put weight on my injured leg. He painted a picture far worse than it actually was. Come to find out his medical advice set me back in recovery according to my surgeon and physical therapist. If you have a choice of where to be seen, I would suggest being seen elsewhere.
Needs were not met, Dr. Changed
My complaint to "Abdominal Pain"
for some reason, I never said i was in pain....
You can tell the staff is shady
just by their behavior, Its the same as the staff at the other
more popular butcher shop in Redding.
I'd say the average review rating is accurate, About the same paltry healthcare as The House on Haunted Hill (Mercy Medical Center Redding California)
Update: Went in again and they changed my complaint to alchohol withdrawal.... I dont even drink, Lol they mad cause I stiffed them with a huge bill recently, I cant wait to update this with the amount, it better be over $30,000 or I'm going to be disappointed
Pops and I ended up in the ER together and the staff was absolutely awesome! They were exceptional at communicationg amongst themselves so Dad and I weren't stuck explaining ourselves over and over. The wait time was reasonable and my super rad nurse Nicki was great at checking up on me even though I was by no means in dire straights. I personally had a great experience all things considered. Thank you so much to everyone that mended me up. :)
I am completely hurt that in the state of mind I allowed my daughter to come here!!! I was lied to constantly the care for my daughter was horrible !thank God she left when she did vibra was slowly killing my daughter! God sees you all and you all have to answer to him!!!
My father stayed here and received daily physical therapy. The staff were kind and considerate of my father’s needs and answered our questions honestly even though some answers were not easy to take. We are grateful for Dr. Rainsford & Dr. Kumar for their calls to ease our minds when my father had set backs. These times are very tuff for us all.
From the moment I got here the atmosphere was friendly. I was treated with respect & compassion. If You or any one you love need long term care you can confidently choose vibra. They honestly treat you like family even in your roughest times they treat you with care.
Hospital is a joke! Staff is rude, doctors and nurses are uneducated. Just go there and find out yourself, if you don’t want to take my word. My best advice is to drive down to the Bay Area. Amazing doctors there, even with this stressful pandemic. They still treat their patients great. The Bay Area hospitals and clinics are way more educated and very respectful. There is a reason they have such good reviews compared to shasta county hospitals and clinics.

Visiting from out of town and broke my foot. Jumped through all the hoops HMC requires to be seen only to be told that I would have to produce a negative Covid test from the emergency room. On top of not being able to get in the lady who called me back decided it was her job to scold me for traveling.
I think it is a little ridiculous that an URGENT CARE facility requires you go to the hospital for a Covid test before you can be seen. But hey, if that's their policy then so be it. What I don't understand is the unprofessional behavior of the staff telling me I shouldn't be travelling (even though I'm following the CDCs recommendations).
Not a bad place to have heart valve replacement surgery. The team prepares for your arrival months ahead and they monitor your status constantly. They do a great job replacing heart valves using less invasive methods that hurts A LOT LESS and makes recovery fast. It's life saving and you will live longer. This team has perfected the procedure, and even high risk people can survive the operation and have more time with their loved ones. As a Kaiser member, you will have a low co-pay, and walk out feeling better in a few days. High end medicine for sure.
The doctors and nurses are friendly and explain everything to you and your friends and family. The nurses do an exceptional job caring for patients. Your friends and family can hang out in the various waiting areas and enjoy a nice view.
"The food here is also not that bad" :-) says a 75 year old patient.
The best hospital I’ve ever been to. They took great care of my wife and daughter all the staff was amazing.
